Help for children living with domestic abuse
If anyone is hurting or upsetting someone in your family you should talk to someone about it. You could try talking to a teacher, youth worker, another member of your family or anyone you feel comfortable with.
- Tell them you are worried and that you really want to tell someone about your worries
- If you cannot think of anyone to talk to ring Childline on 0800 1111 or the NSPCC on 0808 800 5000
- You could give the person who is being hurt the address of this website

Links with schools and the youth service
There are clear links between attitudes to healthy relationships and the PHSE and Citizenship curricula. There is much good practice nationally. Contact the North Somerset Domestic Abuse Forum if you would like to talk about introducing the subject of healthy relationships to your school or young people’s group.
